The First Order of Business

November 10, 1888

At their first business meeting, they called a local pastor from New Britain who accepted the call to pastor both his home church, and the newly formed Swedish congregation in Bristol.

The Beginning

October 26, 1888

The first seven Swedish members of  <em>Bristol Baptist Church</em> were urged by Rev. Olaf Lindh to organize into an independent church. They did so, operating independently as a mission of <em>Bristol Baptist Church</em>.
